The Campuses Sustainability Alliance is an organisation working towards a future where institutions and campuses embody principles of environmental stewardship, social justice, and economic resilience and where students are empowered to become ethical leaders and change-makers for addressing sustainability issues including climate change, resource depletion, and ecological conservation.
CampSA envisions to foster a culture of sustainability within higher education and campuses more broadly. We aim to empower students, faculty, and administrators to actively contribute to a more sustainable and environmentally conscious world. By providing resources, support, and a platform for collaboration, we seek to create a network of campuses that lead by example and inspire others to follow suit.
We see sustainability as interconnected with all aspects of campus life: education, research, governance, operations, and community outreach. Our work is therefore guided by these core values:
